She began her career on the Central Coast of California, assisting award-winning engineer Brian Reeves. Together, they shaped projects at legendary studios like United Recording and Henson Recording Studio in Los Angeles, as well as Brian’s private studio, affectionately known as “The Shack.”
Now based in San Francisco, Katie is an up and coming engineer at EMPIRE — one of the most influential independent labels in the game.
